Born in Jamaica with French and Jamaican heritage, Francois grew up in a culturally and musically rich environment. He began playing Organic instruments as a child, and his interest in physics would lead him into the world of music production and audio engineering in his early teens and fuel a joy for experimentation in creating various blends of musical chemistry, dissolving the lines between traditional and organic sounds and the vast and open universe of electronic synthesis.
